Sometimes called the "actors stone" as it is said to help memory. Believed to help increase confidence, and said to be especially helpful when starting out in new ventures or a new job. A stone often given to give "good luck". Physically, it has been used to heal sores, rejuvenate tissues and cells, rheumatism, kidney problems, gall stones, colds, pollen allergies, and neuralgia. Associated with the spleen or saccral (2nd) chakra it is believed to help with fertility and potency, also with the problems of menopause and the menstrual cycle
